Life

To travel on the same boat
Yet have not spoken a word
In an utter state of inactivity
But only the wind moving

The noises made by the wind
Did send shivers down the spine
Yet they remained in silence
Afraid to even stir or moan

Desire was overflowing within
At the thought of jeopardy
The warning bell still ringing
The chimes from an old Church

The unknown perils of stirring
Seemed more worse than
The winds howling around
Or the anonymous time

What was left was a pity boat
And a pair of wooden oars
Hundreds of unknown eyes
Casting a spellbound look

So the prey remained in the boat
With the fears of danger
Oh! Only if they had known
They could conquer even the world!
